The pilot burner works with the pilot assembly and PCB to ensure that the gas is ignited efficiently. When the appliance is activated the gas valve allows the gas into the main burner and the pilot burner, a naked flame inside the appliance is used to start the combustion of the gas which is flowing into the main burner .
